Sidney's climate is kept moderate by the Pacific Ocean, with daytime temperatures averaging between 7 degrees Celsius in the winter, and 22 degrees in the summer - so it's pretty comfortable here.

Sidney is super close to the airport and the ferries going to Washington and Vancouver, so it's easy to find.

If you do want to visit Victoria, it is only a 20 minute drive. We are also very close to the Butchart Gardens, and Butterfly Gardens.
