Dan Bauer (Diver Dan)

Sidney Dive n Surf’s owner/operator

Dan has over 2600 dives under his weight belt and has dove all over the world. He has been teaching PADI courses for a living almost full time since 1997.

To date, Dan has certified well over 200 divers. He holds current repair certifications with almost a dozen manufactures and is a regulator clinic instructor for Scuba Max. Dan also holds an instructor rating as a boat captain and has several hundred hours at sea. If you see a course on this or the PADI website you want to take, Dan can teach it (from Drager Rebreather, Nitrox and Tech courses to kids bubblemakers…but not Ice diving ((BURR)).

Dan is an advisor to Parks Canada, Official custodian of the GB church, and founder/ President of the Sidney Dive Expo. You will not find a more dedicated and enthusiastic ambassador to the sport of diving!

Jeremy is a PADI divemaster and has been managing the dive shop during the summer for the last two years (in between going to school in Alberta). He has decided to stay with us for an extended period this year, and will be hosting the Sharks and Sirens dive club.
